Scam education hub
Knowledge is the only vaccine
Scam syndicates update their scripts constantly. Understanding how each scheme actually works — step by step — is what keeps you and the people you love safe.
Crypto, Forex & Investment Traps
The single costliest scam category worldwide. Victims are shown fake dashboards with growing 'profits' to encourage ever-larger deposits.
Romance Scams
A relationship that feels real — because the scammer is a professional whose full-time job is making it feel real.
Identity Theft & Account Takeover
Your name, your credit, your accounts — used by someone else, often discovered months after the breach.
False Pretence & Impersonation
Fraudsters wearing the costume of authority: banks, government agencies, police, lotteries, lawyers, immigration consultants.
If it just happened — do these six things now
- 1
Call your bank immediately — ask to freeze accounts and attempt a recall of recent transfers
- 2
Change passwords on email, banking and any account sharing those passwords
- 3
Preserve everything: messages, emails, receipts, wallet addresses, phone numbers
- 4
Report to your national fraud centre (Canada: CAFC 1-888-495-8501)
- 5
Place a fraud alert on your credit file if identity details were exposed
- 6
Be wary of 'recovery agents' who contact you afterwards — that's wave two of the scam
